This story is really neat because of the project I’m beginning with Grand Rapids Public Schools. It details the rise of Cincinnati Public School District, one of the nation’s poorest. It compares the clean rise from Cincinnati to the cheating districts in Atlanta and Washington D.C.

The Philosophy of SimCity: An Interview with the Game’s Lead Designer (Atlantic) 

Apparently parking lots were one of the biggest issues for the designers; who knew? I’m so excited to play this game when it comes out on Mac, despite the negative reviews and my little free time. It seems so much more indepth and real compared to past games. That and I’ve always been fascinated by city planning.

Again, as a young careerist with entrepreneurial aspirations, I’m always looking for advice from successful people who have done things with their lives. So I always like articles like this, but they also make me laugh.
